How To Update Address In Aadhaar Card Online
To update the address in Aadhaar card, you can follow the below steps:
- Visit the official website of UIDAI - https://uidai.gov.in/
- Click on the 'Update Your Address Online' option on the homepage.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the 'Send OTP' button.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on the 'Login' button.
- On the next page, you will be asked to enter your new address. Enter the correct details and click on the 'Submit' button.
- After submitting the form, you will be asked to upload a scanned copy of the supporting documents.
- After submitting the application, you will receive an acknowledgement slip containing a URN (Update Request Number). You can use this number to track the status of your update request.
Alternatively, you can also visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Centre and submit a request for updating your address by filling up the Aadhaar Update Form and providing the required documents.
